The Sabre 402 was designed to provide exceptional
performance yet be easily sailed by a couple. In association with Naval
Architect Jim Taylor, the Sabre Design Team wanted to show that cruising need
not be slow and that performance can add considerably to the enjoyment of a
sailing yacht.
In the 402, Sabre produced a spirited club racer with a PHRF rating of 86.
Newport to Ensenada anyone?
Maintaining a reputation for traditional Maine craftsmanship and integrity, this
boat is first and foremost a Sabre. She is a fine example of the type of high
quality boat American builders are capable of producing.
This Sabre 402 cruiser offers great seat-of-the-pants sailing. This one's for
you, Skipper!
